YEEF is a registered Non-Profit Organisation based in Thokoza, working across KwaMhlanga and the wider Nkangala district of Mpumalanga.

YEEF is committed to empowering young and vulnerable communities through education support, skills development, leadership training, and social development programmes — promoting equality, unlocking potential, and creating opportunities for youth to become responsible leaders and change-makers.
YEEF runs two streams of programming — inside schools during term time, and inside the community during school holidays — often alongside government and corporate partners.

Monday to Friday during school holidays — young children play traditional games including morabaraba, hoop rolling, top spinning and diketo.

Life-skills workshops and business management training for young people aged 18–35, opening the door to non-repayable NYDA grant funding.

NYDA is looking for 100 young people (18–35) ready to start or grow a business. Life-skills workshop, business training, and a pathway to non-repayable grant funding. Venue, date and time to be confirmed.

SAPS joined the Born Free Dialogue hosted with LoveLife, engaging learners on bullying, GBV, domestic violence and substance abuse.
Makerana Traditional Council (Chrishani) — a free screening and money-skills session run with Funda Nathi Foundation.
Members broke ground on a community garden, building practical agricultural skills toward food security and self-reliance.
Mphuthi Hall — learn, plan, save, invest and grow, run in partnership with AvoVision and the Sanlam Foundation, certificates issued.
